While student discounts offer small savings, creating budgets and developing good savings habits are key to building long-term financial security. TU's Student Financial Wellness office helps students maximize their funds, plan for the future, and understand the risks and rewards of managing money effectively.

      Our financial wellness consultants understand the challenges college students face and are here to help. While not financial advisors, we guide students in identifying their financial values and priorities, offering ongoing support. Everyone has a financial story—before finances become overwhelming, meet with a consultant to start changing yours. Our consultants provide resources and support in, 1-on-1 coaching, scholarship assistance, financial workshops, classroom presentations, tax filing.

      Financial coaching through the Student Financial Wellness Office offers personalized, one-on-one support to help students navigate their financial journey. In these confidential sessions, students can explore topics like budgeting, saving, managing debt, and setting financial goals. Our coaches provide tailored guidance based on individual needs and circumstances. To schedule a session, students can easily book an appointment through Handshake.

    • Earn to Learn

      Earn to Learn is the largest and most successful matched savings scholarship program in the country. Qualifying students who deposit $500 into a savings account annually receive an 8:1 match for a total of $4,500 per year for tuition, fees, and other approved educational-related expenses. These scholarships, when combined with financial education and college success coaching, help students graduate from college with less student debt.
